les feuilles mortes原本並不是为爵士乐所作的曲子，
而是匈牙利的作曲家joseph kosma在1945年于法国所作的香颂歌曲。
法文的原意是the dead leaves。香颂在法语里原为无可救药的糖衣。
這首香颂在1946年的电影 les portes de la nuit中，
由歌手yves montand主唱，轰动一時，大为流行。
歌词哀愁、旋律优美，俨然就是世人对法国香颂印象的代表性作品，
因此半世纪以来还一直被许多人重新演唱。
聆听这首曲目的音符萧瑟，仿佛真的听到枯叶坠落的声音。
