Blackmore's Night是少见的夫妻档乐团。老公 Blackmore 来自当年叱吒风云的硬摇滚乐团 Deep Purple，70年代新古典吉它宗师的地位无可动摇。老婆 Night 是一位名不经传的民歌手，原来在 Blackmore 的乐队中作背景和声。二人成婚后妻改夫纲，Richie Blackmore，响誉乐坛三十年的吉它英雄，被老婆改造成中世纪牧羊人，玩起了民谣。曾几何时的电琴咆哮变成了真琴私语.... 99年专辑 Under a Violet Moon 是乐队的代表作，是一张欧洲民歌的巡礼专辑，收录了从英德到波兰俄国，西班牙到意大利各式曲风的作品。
