来自英国伦敦南部的St Philip's Boys' Choir（圣菲利浦男孩合唱团）是全球最著名的童声合唱团之一。该团由一群平均年龄为7岁至14岁的伦敦男童所组成，每一名入选的男童都接受了严格的训练。他们的声音空灵纯净，清晰柔美，而他们所演唱的歌曲配乐温文儒雅，因此受到全球爱乐者的喜爱，被乐迷们赞誉为“上帝赐与的盛礼”。 St Philip's Boys' Choir自1984年开始录制唱片，1988发行了首张独立专辑Sing Forever。1990年改名为Angel Voices（天使之音）并发行了3张专辑，分别为Angel Voices，Angel Voices2，Angel Voices3（Christmas Album）。差不多就是在这个时候他们开始广为人知。1999年St Philip's Boys' Choir改名为“Libera”（天乐新世纪）为名并发行了同名专辑。在EMI唱片公司为雅典奥运会发行的名为“Harmony”的古典乐专辑中，收录了Libera新专辑中的一首歌曲Voca Me。
虽然St Philip's Boys' Choir成立了超过二十年之久，但是他们的魅力却从未减退过。他们不仅对宗教诗歌拿手，对流行音乐也能充分份诠释发挥，因此经常可以看见他们与国际巨星合唱，他们的每一张专辑也风靡世界，成为市场上的畅销发烧大碟，同名专辑Libera曾在欧洲爆出20万张的销售记录。Libera还曾给许多电影演唱过插曲，比如“Romeo and Juliet”（罗密欧与朱丽叶）、“Hannibal”（汉尼拔），甚至还曾给Sony的PS2游戏“ICO”演唱主题曲。
